We're Texas Infant Aquatics
You're looking for swimming lessons for your little boy, little girl, baby, infant, toddler, or pre-schooler. At Texas Infant Aquatics our instructors specialize in teaching kids to float and swim in a safe and secure pool setting.
How We Teach
Children aged 6 months and up learn to swim and then float to breathe. Older infants and toddlers learn to swim, float to breathe, and then swim again to the side of the pool or steps and safety!
After survival lessons are completed we urge you to participate in our group lessons so that your child continues to learn and perfect their skills and technique — some children start learning stroke technique as young as 2 or 3 years of age!

More About Us
Why We're Different
Our students really learn to swim, not just play in the water. Learning to float is a technique that many schools and learn-to-swim teachers don’t even attempt because it takes time and patience, but once your child learns to breathe whenever they need it, they truly can swim — no matter what age — and they can conquer fears they may have about the water.
Do you have a pool? Does your family vacation near water? Have a lake house? Do you go boating? Have a hot tub? Do you live near a pond, creek, river, or canal?
Survival in the water. Preventing drowning. It’s not just about being comfortable in the water…it’s about learning to swim.
Here's What to Expect
Your child will learn to:
- Swim independently in our one-on-one survival lessons.
- Rescue themself from a fall into water.
Our instructors are not lifeguards or part-timers dabbling in instruction. All of our instructors are professional swim teachers who have had at least 100 hours of in-water instruction and hours of academic work in infant physiology, child development, and behavioral techniques. Our skills mean your child will learn to swim from the most sought after swimming teachers in the country.
We're Expanding
Even if your town does not have an instructor, you can bring Texas Infant Aquatics to your city. Sponsor an instructor by finding a pool in your area in which one of our instructors can teach students. Then contact the instructor closest to your town for more information.
Are you interested in becoming an instructor? We offer hands-on training and continuing education with expert instructors averaging 25 years of proven teaching experience. Learn more about instructor education at Texas Infant Aquatics.
